Muir Woods

Just north across the Golden Gate, is your opportunity to visit part of the Redwood Forest at Muir Woods, a National Monument since 1908. Walk among old growth coast redwoods, cooling their roots in the fresh water of Redwood Creek and experience the tranquility of these natural giants. Reservations are required.
